It has modified my life list. "BBC wildlife cameraman" has displaced "fireman" on my what-I-want-to-be-when-I-grow-up list. My hat's off to these guys. Finally, eons of human evolution have made HD slo-mo video possible so that we could see this kind of viewpoint in mind numbing clarity. It is a 6-part series. Each and every one of them has image sequences that you just can't believe. No CGI here, just magnificent shots of birds doing their thing, up close. The downside is that we will want to throw out all of our through-the-windscreen videos after watching this stuff.
Don't settle for anything less than the full HD version and watch it on the biggest screen you can find. You won't regret it. (You MIGHT regret that David Attenborough doesn't narrate the series.
Here's a teaser. Full series available from the usual suspects.
