BCP fly in

I talked to Mark Young (supreme commander of the Idaho division of Aeronautics) and gave him the dates of our Johnson creek fly in. He will be relaying the information to the caretakers and reserving an area for us.
Also it looks like there is a good chance that there will be no curtesy cars available this summer at Johnson creek. The bridge that crosses the river has sustained damage from high water and actually is in danger of washing away! I will keep everyone posted. MM

That could also cause a firewood shortage since they have a supplier truck it in. I wonder how the caretakers are getting across the creek?
This seems to me to be a problem that they will have to resolve PDQ. That strip is used for a lot more than just camping. Johnson Creek is also a USFS firebase.
