BCP Members in Homer???

I know I have seen some posts from members in Homer AK.

I recently made the trip up from NV for the summer to do some flightseeing and charters.
I would like to meet up.

Anybody?

Hard to do but what the hell. :D :D :D

There is alot to see up here.
My son is coming up mid June to spend the rest of the summer with me.
He's fired up and ready to fish.
Should be a good summer.

P.S.
Please keep everything in line down there.

I'll Probably spend some time in Green River this fall.
Maybe we should get together some kind of informal fly-in???
"Blackrock" will probably be ready.

You can count me in alright! Like everyone else, I'm just waiting for this weather to break so we can go fly places. :)

I'm 70 miles away in Soldotna, but plan on dragging the boat down to Homer next Friday ( June 6th) to chase some halibut around the inlet. I am sure we will be hitting up a local watering hole in the evenings.

Well now it's a tourist trap not like the old days. Not to say something like that still wouldn't happen in the wee hours.

Re: BCP Members in Homer???

I have lived an flown here year round for four years, you will love it. The Salty Dawg is still open and has gone non-smoking, can't say as I see any tourists there though....

The place for pilots in Homer is thursday nights at Beluga Lake Lodge, usually starts around seven, pilots from the local air taxis as well as private pilots come to swap stories...all true of course, no exagerations at all.

Welcome to some of the most beautiful flying you will ever do. I will say this: Alaska will offer you a lot of opportunities to make bad decisions, be safe.

The winner is the person with the most stories when he dies, not the most gold.
