Never said skiing over, and never lost one. Do you pull your boots straight vertical out of the mud when you walk?

Your words....

Not trying to pick a fight. But there is good reasons why you don't see full length skis on commercial helicopters. 90% of all skid equiped machines will be on bearpaws if anything.

I had to cringe when I saw that guy citing my words, and I still don’t think he understood what I said.

Do you pick your feet up straight vertical out of the mud when you walk? How often do you have to turn around and pull your boots out by hand?

Not trying to pick a fight, but you sound like you’re super knowledgeable and a ton of fun at gatherings.

I’m done here.

Thank you for all the comments. There are infinite flight profiles, missions and budgets. As we know no two flights are identical.

I wish to investigate landing on sand at first. Then, God willing move to snow (not this year, maybe next Winter). Also, will be attending more training in Bend this Spring season. I need more and more training :D

In case you missed my exciting new video of the dunes in Oregon, this is what I would like to land on as safely as possible.

Note: contacted DART, waiting for quote on small Bearpaw, large Bearpaw (comparing cost etc.) and metal wear plate (I think it’s included)

Long time since we’ve heard from UH-60 & C180 around here. I hope your skies are blue, pal. Reminded of your hospitality whenever a Blackhawk or a Chinook passes over.

I had lunch with UH-60&C180 in Waikiki few years ago. He is building a RANS?
