No way my eye balls could do that! Too much attention outside to worry about the TC. Probably why the yote survived!

The Force is definitely preferable.

I was hoping Zane really didn't need to post this vid (great find by the way) for people to get the reference. Had I seen it earlier, I'd definitely chimed in with a Force comment!

Mike, nice flying, but I was really hoping you were going to turn around and harass the coyote!

Any photos or details on the mount? I use a Drift, but the strut mount is one of my favorite locations. Currently I use the drift helmet mount, some 1/4" foam padding and a couple strips of duct tape.

Bear,

You can make the Drift very stable. I also use the helmet mount along with a hose clamp and some thin rubber tubing ($5 in parts). Of course different aircraft have different amounts of vibration, so results may will vary. I've had good success with C182s and my 205. PM me your email address and I'll send some pics.

It is great fun to catch them out in the open and harass them alright. I was too close to the airport for that this time.

TangoFox and I caught one out in the open by Franklin lake one winter day. TF started the chase and by the time he'd overrun it, I was turned around and coming in in for a pass; we kept repeating. We chased it around in circles for about 15 minutes. Great fun!

Another time, I caught one out on Diamond lake. It is one of the larger dry lake beds in this area being about 20 miles long and 5 or 6 wide. After running it for a long time, it just gave up and sat down. It just sat there and snapped it's jaws at each pass after that. He was completely worn out.

They are shot at a lot from the air around here by the gv'ment guys so they run like hell when they see a plane!

Careful guys, some folks may not take kindly to what they view as harassing wildlife.
