Flew 5555C for the 1st time in almost four months friday. Thats way to long to be out of the air, I'm already noticing serious attitude improvement. Just stayed in the pattern did some really nice wheelies and even tried a three pointer. Not to stir up trouble but those three pointers (at least in the 170A are to much work) Thanks for lettin me vent

You're crazy. The 3 pointers are so much easier than the wheelies.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

That's what everybody keeps saying, but I'm not convinced. I feel like if you set it up right the plane lands it self in the wheelie configuration. I always seem to make mock carrier landings when i'm three pointing.
Ive never flown a B model, but i have flown a citabria and i prefer wheeling that to. Maybe it's just the way my eyeballs sit in my head.

No way, wheelies are the stuff. Those three pointers give me the willies and they wear out tailwheels

I think you're both wrong. My wheelies were sloppy so I started practicing them, now I suck at both!
