Bert Thomas, Thomas Aviation

Good day guys and gals, I am just wondering if anyone has ever had anything to do with Mr. Bert Thomas of Thomas Aviation out in Alberta. I am looking to get a bunch of work done to my 182 (30-40,000 worth ) and am just looking for any referances or anyone that has done business with him before. I talked to the guys out at Seaplanes West and it sounded like Bert really knows his stuff but first hand info is always good. As per Berts website he is the only Canadian Authorized King Katmai shop, so that says a lot about what he "SHOULD" know about the 182.

Thanks in Advance

Re: Bert Thomas, Thomas Aviation

LOL, sorry guys. I am putting on the Wing X extensions, Sportsmans STOL, big tires and the seaplanes west Float kit and EDO 2870's. ( Odviously not at the same time as the tires, for all the smart A#$'S out there). Possibly VG's but still looking into this. Bert tells me there is an STC for my plane as well that can gain me upwards of 250 lbs usefull without any mods so I have my fingers crossed on this. Apparently only about 2000 bucks worth of paperwork. I purchased a Dozer this winter and am starting on my airstrip at the house. Sick of driving every time I want to fly so these mods will help me get in and out of there. I just want to make sure I am dealing with the right guy before diving in head first.

Great plans, was the A/C on your avatar parked at Rimbey most of the winter?

Sweet list of mods! And another strip in Alberta! We need more of them.
