Blissful moments, encounters and thoughts on my last trip

When I set out on my 5 1/2 week trip last year, the plan was to visit places I had long dreamed of: Schafer Meadows, Ryan Field in Montana, Johnson Creek in Idaho, Mexican Mountain in Utah, just to name a few. I've landed in all of these places, and taking my 170 into this spectacular landscape has left lasting memories.

The motivation for my most recent, final trip with Whiskyblue was different: I wanted to meet people and show off my bird - after all, it is for sale.
The route was drawn with a broad brush, open to spontaneous deviations.

This openness, I think, left more room for chance encounters, interesting conversations and almost meditative contemplation.

Take this day ath the Beech Party in Tullahoma for example.

What are the most common topics when talking around the campfire?
Well, I guess it depends on weather, location, age of the participants, amount of alcohol consumed, etc... I don't have a general, statistically significant answer.

However, two topics almost always came up during campfire conversations on my trips: the flying background or history of the pilots present and the freedom to fly.

Re: Blissful moments, encounters and thoughts on my last tri

As the end of my last adventure approached, I looked back to save memories.
I realized that I was posting a lot about Whiskyblue because I was selling it, so those posts were partly self-serving. But when I started the videos, my motivation was to share my journey to realizing a childhood dream and to inspire others to do the same.
