Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process... :)
With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).

I think the Bearcat has always been my favorite of the WWII era fighters. I don't think they even saw deployment during the war. Too late. The sound, the short cigar shape, the aggressive angle standing on it's gear. That's a nice picture Hicountry. I wish I could have been there to crawl around underneath and peer in the engine cowling. I've only been up close and personal once I think.

I like the comment the one former Angel made; "That lead man is sitting up there just fat and happy, but those wingmen are working hard". :D
