You guys that are close to Hood River want to do a fly out to WAAAM? You won't be disappointed! When I get back from Africa that is. After October 16th

Cheers...Rob

Re: Boeing 40C In Hood River, Or. at WAAAM

A friend and I (in his C172) made the Hood River Fly-In, and it was well worth the trip!
The WAAAM Museum alone is worth a flight to 4S2, but the other gorgeously-restored aircraft attending this weekend were truly impressive. Addison's Boeing MailPlane was just one there worth a bunch of photos. Stinsons, Wacos, Staggerwing Beech... beautiful!
I'll be shining the C170B in the Heritage Trophy area at the Reno Air Races this week... and am sure I'll be lost in the grandeur of some of the planes I saw at Hood River that are also attending at Reno/Stead. Ah well, at least I got invited!
Drop by and say howdy,
B.R.
