borer prop question
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.

I've got a question for those of you who've installed a McCauley "borer" prop in place of the stock Sensenich prop on your Supercub. Did the stock spinner assembly fit the borer? I'm thinking of getting one for my C150/150 and am trying to get my ducks in a row first (for a change). I think a field approval will be do-able as the borer prop is STC'd for a certificatd airplane (PA18), and my ground clearance is up to snuff with my 850's -- just need to know if the spinner will be an issue. I can always just run a skull-cap or a flat cover plate but would prefer not too.
I'm also curious as to what retrictions etc are part of the PA18 STC(s)? For example, min & max static rpms, etc. The field approval process would probably be easier if I had a copy of the STC paperwork for the PA18 & could show that I've complied with the installation instructions & any limitations which are a part of it.

I've corresponded with Mike before. I got ahold of him again & he's gonna send me a copy of his borer 337. Is there anyone else running a "borer prop" (McCauley 1A175GM8041 or 44) on a field approval versus an STC? Another C150/150 would be best, of course, but any field approval paperwork for this prop would likely be helpful.
