Brutus and Me

This is a real series from this guy who apparently raised this bear from a cub.

After seeing this one, I thought it was definitely Photoshopped, until I saw the rest of the series.

Kinda cute, but I sure hope that guy doesn't end up dead.

He, the bear, looks de-toothed. Kinda looks like his claws are seriously trimmed. Even so, I'd hate to be around if the bruin got mad.

Re: Brutus and Me

We had an idiot like that who used to spend most of his summers here in Alaska. He wanted to be close to his buddies, like Tabitha.......got his wish. Was killed and partially eaten along with his girlfriend..........name was something like Timothy Treadwell......even had a movie.......made the news big time......What an idiot. =D>

Re: Brutus and Me

This reminds me of a video I seen on TV, where a guy is feeding a black bear cookies,( one at a time) the bear being a bear decided one at a time wasn't enough. So he decided to rip the whole bag away from the fellow who got this offended look on his face, (you hog!!) Why the bear didn't eat the cookies, the bag, and the dumb shit, I'll never know. There is a reason they are called Animals! [-X

While aviation has made the world a smaller place, if you fall, it's still hard to miss!

Most all wild animals should be kept alone in the wild, especially the aggressive one's. If there hurt badly, let nature take it's course.

Re: Brutus and Me

The one in the kitchen was definitely photo shopped. Seems kinda weird they would do that because they have so many good real pictures. Look at the area where the table cloth meets the bear. Lots of poor cloning going on there. There are other signs of fakery as well - lighting, density, poor shadow recreation, etc. Still some pretty crazy shots though!

There's that and also there's no way that bear wouldn't be all over that turkey and the fixings. You can't train 'em to just sit there until you say grace  .

Hahaha! So true.

"He's such a good bear, just sitting there guffawing like grandpa used to, amidst the aroma of turkey and gravy."
