Make a weekend out of it! Get your Density Altitude practice and see the sites. Should be a good time

Weather permitting (of course) the Bryce event sounds good to me, it's been a while since I've been in that area. For some reason, I want to check out Delta UT., isn't that the place where you can land right behind the motel?

I think thats Denio jct or Amboy??

The only thing near the airport in Delta are some secret, word-class rabbit hunting venues. Bring your banned-in-Kalifornia clips. :P :P :P

We decided to hit the Airshow in Evanston, WY - same day of show but not as pretty as Bryce. Not the ugliest town in the West either but you can sure see it from here...

That's Green River you're thinking of.

Green River, that's it.... next time!

I did stop in at Delta, and after meeting a local pilot, and checking out the air conditioned, bathroomed, big screen TV'd pilots lounge called it a day right there. This was probably the best "lounge" I've ever been in, LED lighting both inside and on the ramp, hot water, everything perfectly clean and super squared away plus a large variety of good pilot reading material. I of course left it in the same condition, with all the magazines obsessively lined up perfect, etc., funny how a neat place stays neat and a trashed one stays trashed. Delta set me up just right this morning for squirting through the SLC airspace on my right and the military restricted area on my left, which gave me a "nice" view of the Great Salt Lake while crossing it, and a chance to review my water ditching plan, (and I do have one) not needed this time.

Wow! Delta! Sounds like they have upgraded the lounge this summer because it wasn't that way in March! I'll have to check it out.
