Bull Run in the 180

I don't post many videos but felt this one was worth sharing.

Nice energy management turn going into the valley. Good deceleration going into the strip. Apparent rate of closure jumps up on us more suddenly with the shallow approach. Nice low ground effect takeoff.

I enjoyed the video, especially because it’s so free from vibration or shaking. Even your landing was smoothed out by the software. I gave up filming my flights because I hated all of the distracting “artifact” that made the video hard to view at times.

What camera and video editing software are you using?

Thanks Jim. It's nice to watch these videos because there is so much going on during the flight you don't really get a chance to take in the scenery. I did come in too low. It was my first time into this strip and didn't realize how far past the strip I flew when I did the Canyon turn. There are a few bars on the river that sort looked like the strip at a distance.

The video quality is mostly due to having a really sturdy mount. I got it from a guy named Marc - Cloudbase engineering.

I have an GoPro Hero 9 I used for the video and used IMovie to make the video. There was really no editing. I clipped the video and added a title. I do believe there is some anti motion software within the GoPro. It also helped that it was dead calm for winds. Most of the time with this setup I get a similar quality video. I had a GoPro 4 model that seemed to show more motion artifact.
