You might throw in the wheel & brake set that converts a champ. The guy who bought the 29 inchers in Ohio last year, is still trying to adapt some old cheap single pucks. (Now I can't order for him), but it's hard to sell from an empty basket if you know what I mean?

The champ is plain oleo, not the no-bounce or spring type.

it is a 7D something, with 135 hp.

Re: Bushwheel Mobile headed East....

Due to things unplanned cumming up with building projects and other STC projects that we have had in the works for two or more years and the FAA getting on track with said projects we will not be making the trip East...... We are very sorry to cut this trip out but in order to finally make some headway on these projects it has to be done. Now for all those that are needing stuff please email me your info and we will ship the parts / goodies to you on our dime. Again sorry to not be able to make it this trip but when you have the chance to get something out of the FAA ya gotta do it!

Thanks again guys for understanding....

Wup, Bill, and the Bushshweel Crew.

Re: Bushwheel Mobile (Was) headed East....

Hottshot,
Darn, I almost had myself talked into coming down and getting a set of 29" Airstreaks. Guess I will have to wait.

Patrol guy, I have a 7AC-CONV and I have been trying to upgrade the brakes for quite awhile. The old Van Sickle brakes are totally worthless when I have the 26" Airstreaks on it. They just about hold the plane at 1500 rpm. I am a typical airplane owner....CHEAP.....I can NOT see spending the money Wag Aero wants for their conversion kit. Last I looked it was close to $3,500 and that is not including the labor to install it. I have been looking for several years to gather the parts to do it via 337 but have not been able to acquire all the parts.
I recently purchased an S-7 and just put the Champ on floats so I don't need to worry about brakes. Having flown the S-7 a few hours I decided I don't need both planes so I am going to sell the Champ. Guess that solves my brake issue. :)
