I think a big key to interacting with LEO's is to pass the attitude check.
Copping an attitude with the cops pretty much guarantees they will develop an attitude also,
and things go downhill fast after that.

Seems like a lot for what sounds like a fairly small town / county.
23 lawyers vs 46 cops = 2:1 ratio.
Must be a lot of scofflaws in that area...

I must confess I got a laugh out of that one too. It's sort of like a girlfriend I had long ago. For some reason she felt compelled to tell me one evening that she had slept with pretty much every guy in Laramie. I put my arm around her shoulders and kissed her on the forehead and told her, "Don't worry sweetheart, Laramie ain't a very big town.
