Butler Airfield, BC

Anybody have info on the Butler Airfield to the south of Victoria International?

How far south of Victoria. Looks like they are all in USA.

I believe Butler is no more. There was an adjacent gravel pit that kept pecking away at the north end of the airstrip until it got down to an unusable length for most folks. I don't know about who owned what or why it happened, but I guess it did.
The guy I knew there is John Howroyd, who now owns Raven Airfield up near Duncan. If you know him, he could probably fill you in on what's happening with Butler.
