C-180 window latch

Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?

C-180 window latch

I need to get a window latch for my '62 C-180. If i was to go to say, NAPA, and get a pickup window latch, does anyone know what year would of pickup would match up to what I need?

I have the same problem. A gentleman on this sight had a couple for sale but they were not the correct type for our older Cessna's. I went to the local ASY (a... salvage yard) and ended up getting one off an older Ford pick-up vent window. Wasn't the correct type but it works for now.
