Those hinges are made of steel, not aluminum like the later ones, and will take a lot of abuse before breaking.
I would take it off, straighten it and figure out what needed to be "beefed up" do that and then reinstall. There could be some small amount of welding involved.
Some slightly oversized pins made from ss welding rod or piano wire will improve the fit between the two pieces.
Then again maybe you can find a "new" one, get over the loss of a limb and go forward from there.
If this is outside your IA's box, I would would be looking elsewhere for that service.
