C180 and C182 wing strut compatabilty?

C180 and C182 wing strut compatabilty?

I'm a newbie on the forum but am in the process of rebuilding my 1960 C180. Been lurking for quite some time and am wondering if someone can tell me if wing struts from a 1962 C182 can be used on my 180?? Thanks!

A 1962 182 was the first wide body model. It would be 4 inches wider that the 1960 180 so my guess is that it would not be same. If they have same part number then you can do it.
