C180 rear seat belts
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Fellas,
I have a '54 C180 with the original rear bench seat. I have sourced out a set of Cessna rear seats that are ideal for my needs. My question is, the original seat belts are supposed to be attached to the bench seat itself, where as the individual seats had the belts mounted to the floor. Any idea what is required to reconfigure them? I'm not near the plane now so I can't look inside. Are other mounts already in place or is a modification required?? Any ideas?
Thanks!

There was a couple threads here a while back about BAS vs Dodge jump seats, which included discussions about seatbelt attachments complete with photos.. The BAS method would work just fine with Cessna jump seats. The center belt attach mounts to the nutplate in the floor where the aft bolt for the old aft bench seat went. The outboard belt attach tabs are riveted to the side of the cabin. See pics below, and check this thread for p/n's:
