Of course this has led Girlscout to think we're flyin' in a "Yellow SoupCup", rather than a yellow SuperCub...
Thanks. cubscout

Yep, that's why the CB truckers who call themselves "Ghostrider", "Fat Al" etc are constantly being fined by the FCC.

The FCC could give a crap less what you call yourself on an aircraft radio band.
UND uses the "Sioux" call sign (soon to go away, I suppose...hostile you know) and the "Green" call sign for solo students.
In DOI, we used "Interior XX" as a call sign.

I've attached a picture of the model index from my 200 series service manual, shows the various model designations and years.
Well, I guess you'll have to take my word for it while I go read up on importing pics!

P206 . In 1964 the Cessna company started delivering P (passenger doors ) and U (large double doors on R/H side ) .1971 was last year for the 206P .All 206's after 71 were "U" models.

I say 170, but since my tail number is 170SB, it usually causes more confusion and I have to repeat my answer. I'll ask next time what they would prefer. I don't like saying SkyHawk, and Skychicken isn't quite right either...
