The Perseid Meteor Shower is coming up Aug 11-13 (a nice warmup to following week's Eclipse!). A bunch of us will be flying into Cinder Cone Dry Lake near Fossil Falls in the Owen's Valley to watch the shower the night of Aug 12-13. Get there in the evening, set up camp, watch the show. May try to fly somewhere in the morning for breakfast.
