Canso Restoration Norther Alberta

Just thought I'd mention, for the benefit of our American friends, that the Canso is the Canadian version of the Catalina.

But you probably already knew that :?

Thanks for the info. I'm just south of Fairview across the Peace river and was unaware of the fly-in or the restoration project. Is Don Wieben the Don that flies the Beech 18? If so I met him at Eagleshams breakfast fly-in 2 years ago. Great guy.

I don’t know if my reply went out as my iPad is doing funny things. Yes Don has a Beech 18, a super cub and a cessna 185. Your friend is welcome to give him a call if he wants to see the Canso project.
