While traveling by plane there is always the car problem at the other end .Airport cars are great if they are available but sometimes they are not .Looks like I'm taking the family to Palm Springs next week and need a car when we get there . I am based out of Truckee ca and would be willing to leave keys in a dodge truck I have so a wayward BCP'er could use it if they need to .Anybody ever thought of some sort of car swap like this ?Rental cars end up being expensive. I know it might be hard for some people to trust someone with their car but seems like it might work pretty good . Thoughts?

I leave a cavalier at U12 for fellow pilots to steal. It runs on natural gas which runs me .30 cents/ gallon after my tax credit, so I don't even ask that it be refueled. Squawk hijacking in progress to open key box.

There was an article on an ap to find courtesy cars in GA news recently. I have downloaded it but haven't needed to use it yet. Seems like it would be handy especially when traveling cross country. Best thing is it is free!
