So, I think I've decided to sell my 1/2 share of a Mooney and get a real airplane. The Mooney (M20K 252, with Encore upgrade), is an absolutely wonderful airplane, and served me well when I was commuting regularly to the Bay Area from Seattle. But as I don't need to make that commute any more, an all-weather personal airliner isn't something I need, and it can't go to the places I like to go. My dream airplane is a Carbon Cub, however my budget does not allow for $180K+ for one. I'm more in the range of $100K, and was wondering if anyone is interested in a partnership on a new Carbon Cub based either at KRNT or KBFI? Alternatively I think I could get a nice Super Cub in that price range.
Please let me know if you are interested. Also, let me know if you are interested in a 1/2 share of a Mooney 252. It's loaded with an Aspen 1000 PFD, Garmin GTS 750, Century 2000 AP, full TKS, etc. It'll do 210 kts true at FL250 burning only 14 GPH. It's had the Encore upgrade for a 230 lb. GW increase.
