We’re grilling burgers and cooking beans this Sunday, January 19th at Breakaway Park Airport (40XS). If you’re looking at a sectional we’re just south and west of Georgetown Airport (KGTU). SURELY none of you back country folk will have any issues with the 2,700 foot grass strip, but if you need extra room there’s a 3,000 foot paved strip too
. You can land on whichever side of the runway you'd like, but I recommend taking the east side, as there might be some hidden obstacles on the west side
. You can park your airplane on the east taxiway. See the kindergarten drawn picture below. This is nothing fancy, just a fun get together of locals munching down on some all American food and sharing flying stories. HOWEVER, rumor has it that there will be TWO 450 Stearmans attending, as well as a T-6.
