cessna 180 AEROCLASSIC 8.50x6 questions

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

cessna 180 AEROCLASSIC 8.50x6 questions

hi guys, I just bought for my plane some aero classic desser 8.50x6 tires which I plan to place on the cleveland 6 rims with tube.
What do you think? I find them very weak by 4ply
support the weight of the loaded aircraft?
wear out fast?
best regards

Re: cessna 180 AEROCLASSIC 8.50x6 questions

A friend of mine bought a set for his T-Craft.
I'd been considering some for my 180,
but as you discovered they seem kind of flimsy--
maybe great for a smaller airplane but IMHO not so much for a 180.
Although some guys are running them.

Goodyear 8.50's have worked well for me over the years.
