Cessna 180 pre buy needed

Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?

Cessna 180 pre buy needed

Anyone know a mechanic experienced with C180's in northern CA or a shop that would have a guy worth flying out. I hear Beegles is good?

There is a fella at Alamosa Colo. that knows 180's inside and out. I can put ya in touch if that interests ya.

Clay Phelps at CP Aviation in Santa Paula KSZP is honest, knowledgable and experienced. I think he owns one too.

BCP Forum member 182STOL (Bill Reid) is usually available for pre-buys on the west coast, and he is able to travel to the airplane or you can bring it to him. He is a certified CPA Cessna rigger and he also has the ability to do mobile weight and balance. He's saved my bacon once or twice as an inspector. He's also a factory authorized demonstration and installation center for one of the more worthwhile 180 upgrades out there :twisted:

Is it at Skywagons .com ?-Been there done that have discount card for motel/courtesy car -Know Placerville ,CA really good -about 2-1/2 hours by 182 . Northern Colorado is also available-hanger and shop near Ft. Collins ,CO. airport. Have tools can travel Bill Reid see web site for contact info.

Cessna 180 pre buy needed

Talk to Leonard Lusher at Hillside Aviation. He was involved in maintaining, and developing a very intensive 10,000 hour rebuild/inspection for the CHP aircraft. PM me if you need further information.

Yea Seldovia, we do a bit of contracting in AK so we are starting a secondary base there.

Nice place (I was there in late May) but a bit off the beaten path for me.
You'll need that 180 to operate out of Seldovia efficiently.

A friend is looking to sell his place there, the blue A-Frame house with deck across the slough from the airport.
He wants to get back on the road system.
