Haha... I snooze, I lose. :D

I've been daydreaming a bit about searching for some CAP 3000s. I re-read this thread about a month ago and have been thinking I should contact Pinecone and ask about them before I drive south through Canada this September. Oh well.... I have neither trailer to pick them up nor truck to pull it so it's a bit of a longshot for me anyway.

But.... Pinecone.. put me #2 on your list. I'll be driving through your neighborhood in September and could stop for a look... or a cup of coffee and a visit even if you sell them first.

The floats have been in my hangar since I took them off in the Fall of 2016. They’re not going anywhere fast I don’t think. They’re pretty good shape, but ugly. I believe they are second last generation, but not as desirable as the final generation. That said, I understand the difference is in the thickness of the bottoms and the bottoms on mine were replaced with the thicker material by the previous owner.

They need to be stripped and painted. They have white upper, red bottoms, some sort of grip tread material on the tops, and a lot of primer showing through where the bond between the primer and paint let go.

I still liked flying them, and all you’ll need is a bit of hardware, cable, and a rudder lift handle. Paperwork, pork chops and rear blocks are present.

No dibs. First one to put money on the table wins.
