Cessna 182 down at Lake Hood Strip

I thought they were out there yesterday clearing the runway, but I guess not?

Looks like he kinda "missed" the runway and landed on the lake instead.... #-o

Re: Cessna 182 down at Lake Hood Strip

In wanting to be diplomatic, I worded that that way on purpose. I actually think he missed the strip altogether, but landed in the grass next to the strip? I was out there yesterday digging out my plane and I swear I saw them plowing the runway.

I would love to know the story, I went out there today to see if I could see where it happened, and the strip is totally clear.

Could it be a pre-programmed GPS thing gone wrong? It was dusk at the time, right?
