The Amazon reviews seem to indicate this kit includes the wrong screws #3 when it should be #2,

Does anyone have alternatives to this kit - or if this spring is the way to go is there a detailed installation manual or different parts to order?

For a C180H

I've used it on a few different aircraft. Works well. Don't know of any other options. I do seem to remember rhat the screws weren't correct for the 185 I put it in, but that was an easy fix as I had others that worked.

My spring broke about 18 months ago and I ordered this repair kit for my 1977 C180K, installation was simple and the included screws/nuts worked perfect. Very happy with this repair kit. The eBay seller I used j.w.sales, the one with the blue background on the link with great pix of how to remove/install which I printed out for reference. Click on his link and he provides directions and part numbers at the bottom.
