Cessna T206 - Cannot fix oxygen tank back in
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Hi,
I just bought a 1968 TP206C and to install the GFC500 autopilot they removed the 76 CUFT oxygen tank from the tail.
How can I fit the O2 tank back in tail? Looks like the GFC500 autopilot the servo platform blocks where the oxygen tank was before maybe.
What options do I have or has anybody else run into this issue?
Thank you

I dont think so it needs 2 proper floor re-enforced mounts and the aft one is now covered by the servo tray

On my G model, the oxygen bottle is mounted up on the sidewall, perhaps you can convince your mechanic to install it like the newer version ot he 206 as a logbook entry?

I think that's the move. Would you happen to have any photos of how that mounting looks on yours?
