I've been pondering whether the specified CG limits are the same after the addition of a Sportsman cuff. If the leading edge of the wing has been moved forward 2", it would seem to me that to maintain the same MAC the cg would also move forward by half the distance the leading edge was moved.
I have an early 180 with a very forward cg, at or past the forward limit unless I put gear in the extended baggage, I have flown it with the cg past the forward limit with no perceived issues. But, if you move the forward limit to account for the leading edge change, it is within limits. I know its minimal, but like I said, pondering!
