Changing Your Own Oil

So, I figured that I'd share a little video series here that we put together for Disciples of Flight. Using a Cessna Turbo 210 as the example in the video, we demonstrate changing your own oil.

And remember, though the regs do allow for changing your own oil, in an airplane, where mistakes can result in extreme consequences, we highly suggest that you consult with a certified mechanic and get some guidance and help with your first time through.

Re: Changing Your Own Oil

Every time I change my oil in my '46 J3 I wish someone had mad a video showing the operation in a "real" plane - you know - that doesn't have a filter and that has oil screens and crush washers... I need to make that video for the next guy.

Good on you - but most turbo 206 owners are going to pay the FBO to do it.

Thanks for the viddy...
