Chicken Strip Panamint Springs 170 fly in Mar 9-11

The CA 170 association is planning a fly in the chicken strip Mar 9 and Panamint Springs Mar 10. Its in the 170 news that was just mailed but is kind of late notice.

Ask the 170 guys to measure the diameter of the Wind Sock frame so I can try and get a new Wind Sock.

The more the better.

I will be arriving saturday morning at the chicken strip. Moving over to panamint springs saturday night for camping and then flying home sunday afternoon.

A small front is going to push into Norcal on sunday. The winds might pick up so I might head home via lake isabella instead of mammoth pass on sunday.

When Rick and I flew in there I think it was November or December and scoped out Panamint Springs it seemed like the camp grounds were across the highway about 1/4 mile from the airstrip unless you want to camp under the wing. Lotta rocks to sleep on.
