Hey Gump,
Thanks for the hot tip, but i think i'll pass. don't think i could handle the pressure of being a celeb :lol: Besides, now that i have my own plane most flights are enough of an adventure without the extra "drama". #-o And, the old girl has already been spliced into at least 2 episodes that i have been told about so i guess she's been exposed enough.

BTW got to try that "taxi with the throttle" technique the other day that you had mentioned in one of posts awhile back. landing at Nome, had a nice 45-50 degree crosswind 31, gusting 40. Managed to set it down in one piece, but couldn't quite keep her strait. fortunately, the runway was packed snow and ice, so i just kept her pointed into the wind and used the throttle to keep her on the centerline as we slid along at an angle. Pretty cool, was like having those castering "crosswind" mains i have heard about. :mrgreen:
