Very fun.
But what a garden spot village.

Just down the river from Eek.

Of course, the same could be said for most of the villages on the YK Delta, but....somebody spent a LOT of time editing that.

Their signs are synchronized with the song words better than the sound on the movies I watch on Direct TV.

Quinhagak is actually one of the better spots along the river. Used to be an old retired cop run a small flying service out of there. Good pilot and great guy to sit and BS with. Buzz, Fuzz, I can't remember his name.
Actually, my very last flight as a commercial pilot in Alaska was in September 2006, and I flew a stuffed to the gills C207 from Quinhagak to Bethel. I landed from the flight, unloaded pax and stuffs, walked in and told 'em to pound salt. I had gone back to work for Yute Air that summer in Bethel. Gawd I hate the YK. Never again!!!!!

Fuzz was the guys name, don't remember the last name. Wife and I were one of 7 180/185s that spent several weeks in Alaska in 1988. One of the group was a good friend of Fuzz. They both came from ND. Four of the planes including us flew over there.
We spent 4 days camping on the tie down area and fishing the river there. Best King fishing I have ever had. Rented a 16 foot boat from an American that had married into the tribe, Jack Weber was his name and he and his Indian wife had two beautiful daughters around 8 years of age, love to see them now. Was invited to Fuzz's house every night for cocktails ( in a dry village). Jack and his Indian father in law went out one day with nets and caught enough Kings in eight hours to get $2,000.00 and sold them to a Jap boat that came around to buy fish from the Indians.
Sure enjoyed our three different trips to Alaska over the years. Would love to do one more, but as 75 is coming up, might run out of time and $.
