Classic Cessna C140 shipping container, HI to CA
It takes strength and fortitude to beat the air into submission.
Gusty last 48 hours in Hawaii. Not from any lows like last week but, from the classic Pacific High Pressure making gusty Tradewinds.
I flew over to see the C140 at Kalaeloa but, nobody was there? Anyway, good work Joe, may see you on the mainland one day on your Coast to Coast flights.
Here is Joe’s bird

Hahaha sorry! I was walking up to you just as you departed! I saw you sitting there and rushed over. She's all boxed up now and ready to go. Just gotta drain the oil tomorrow...

Hi Joe, my apologies for not seeing you! My instructor was running late to an air tour.
Anyway, you are doing a fabulous thing bringing her home! I wish you the best. As mentioned I will be at Torrance late October. Then Oregon, where things are mellow. I love PHNL but, need a vacation.
Aloha and good work!

No worries! Thanks for the kind words Ted, I'm looking forward to the trip for sure. I'll sleep a hell of a lot easier once the 140 is assembled and airworthy again.
