This is the 11th such event held at Sonoma County's beautiful Cloverdale Municipal airport, home to Quality Sport Planes, the west coast distributor for Zenith Aircraft. Fly-in or drive in to look at the kit planes under construction; see them fly; call ahead to book a demonstration flight! See the new STOL CH 750 Light Sport Aircraft, but also other ultralights, LSA and experimental designs. BBQ lunch by Lion's Club; ALL WELCOME!

Think I will go there and take a look

I went to this fly-in last year with my Dad because he's building a 701. There was a pretty good turn out. They had some seminars going on, the local PD brought out their toys, and the factory was doing demo flights... Food was good too. I will have to see if I can make it... don't forget Sunday is Mothers Day!

Re: Closverdale, CA May 8th

Anybody going? I did my test flight this morning with my new gear, tires, and brakes and it's all good so I'm flying over from Nut Tree. I'll be routing over Mount St Helena into the Valley towards Healdsburg then pushing North. I'll be up 123.45 enroute. Planning to arrive around 9am and beat in some of the traffic. Last year I got there just before 10 and there were about 6 LSA's in the pattern doing 30 second position reports on the CTAF is was ugly.

Headed to the airport destined for Cloverdale. If you end up going look for my little white airplane trimmed in Navy Blue.
