CloudDancer for new FAA administrator

OK, here's the guy. His drinkin' days are already behind him, but he's been there and done that most every way imaginable in an airplane so no one's getting screwed over if they do the same thing.

Ladies and Gentlemen, cast your votes here:

So now I know who CloudDancer is. Or at least what his bag looks like.. or maybe that wasn't right either... but at least he has hood time. Was that Babbit with him?

Sure Gump, CloudDancer would be awesome. But I'd still have a hard time wishing that job on anyone.

Re: CloudDancer for new FAA administrator

Nice thought,

But you know the FAA (or any government agency for that matter) would not put someone in charge that might have some knowledge or experence in the area that they would be regulating

CloudDancer is not discouraged by this knowing that Sully's current job will then be open, Co-chairing for the EAA Young Eagles program. The ranks of young pilots will swell, or at least their heads.

Re: CloudDancer for new FAA administrator

From Cloudy.....

THANKS to the many 100's of you who signed the petition at WhiteHouse.org Unfortunately, we didn't pull it off.

One of my friends at work found the press release(*) below explaining why.

Gov't Considered CloudDancer Overqualified For FAA Job

WASHINGTON – When asked by reporters why CloudDancer wasn't given the FAA job, the Obama Administration said CloudDancer would likely "tell it like it is" and the job description required lying and deception and butt kissing, therefore lawyer or politician experience was required. Also, CloudDancer knew how to fly and that made him overqualifed to oversee the FAA. Vice President Joe Biden said, "Anybody who knows all the canyons between Barrow and Coldfoot, or between Kotzebue and Red Dog mine, or Bethel and Tooksook Bay obviously knows what he's doing and we can't have that here."

http://www.faa.gov/I-am-from-the-faa-I-am-here-to-help

(*) THANKS and a "tip o' the hat" to fellow Airybus driver and co-worker Rob Jamison, who wrote and posted this on our pilot website at my airline. LMAO! Had to share it with you guys 'n gals.
