Cockpit Emergency Smoke Hood
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
With the threads on Fire Resistant clothing and Fire Extinguishers, I thought I would add another device.
I purchased several Smoke Hoods a few years back and keep them in my home, in my flight bag for work, and in my Maule. Although we have expensive Oxygen Generating Personal Breathing Equipment (PBE) on the flight deck at the airline, I like having my own in case I am deadheading or am caught in a fire at a layover hotel.
These are inexpensive devices that could save your life someday.

I don't know if I will buy one, but I find myself watching the video over and over...
