columbia fly in

Just a note of info. A group of folks from Gillespie field El Cajon will be flying in to Columbia for a weekend camp out. I'll probably go to this one and hope to meet up with any of you guys if you feel like dropping in. Except for N6EA who won't have to drop in as he apparently lives there. It is scheduled for the weekend of the 13th July. I'll probably be arriving the wednesday before from a family outing in Truckee Tahoe the weekend before. Iceman

I will also be attending, but only on Sunday, and will be in uniform with our aircraft on display.

I will be with the CHP 206. I will probably be sitting under the wing trying to stay out of the 100 degree temps.

well Jeremy, I'll look forward to that. My guys are doing the doors (Patroller and pop out windows) as we speek and, and were appreciative of your help and pictures. I assumed you would be at JC this week. Looks like they have a good size group there. Look forward to finally meeting you. Butch :D

if anyone wants to join our group and get in on the food, the guy who organizes this one every year charges $45.00 and that includes breakfast and dinner Friday Sat and Sun. We usually go river rafting on sat but that is another charge. Not a bad deal for four or five meals and drinks. Let me know if yu want to get in on it and I'll send you all the info on how to contact Bob Von Weller. In any case I look forward to meeting any BCPers who might pop in .
