Composite prop for the 0-360 Cubs
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.

I installed the new 80/42 Sensenich W80CM8 composite prop on my 0-360 cub this weekend. I did a static rpm test just to compare it to the other props I have ran and then a few takeoffs to see if it is a viable option to the Catto until they get theirs approved. I would say it passed! Static RPM was 2540 and takeoff RPM was right around 2600. I can climb at a sustained 2600 rpm at 59 mph and just shy of 2000 fpm. Level cruise will go a bit above 2700 so I need to back it off right as I level off. I think the 42 pitch with an 0-360 is a very good combination. My takeoff is definitely a little shorter as well. And the added bonus is it cruises at around 102 at 2450 rpm.

Curious how the new Sensenich prop compares to a Catto?
