Next weekend July 24-26 The Concrete WA airport (3W5) will be hosting their annual Old fashioned Fly-In. This is a great little airport for a fly-in in the foothills of the Cascades. A great place to hang out by your plane and watch all the planes come and go that come out of the woodwork for the fly-in. There is more info at http://www.skagitaero.com . The theme this year is "Vintage Aircraft", so there should be some neat stuff there. The wife and I will be camping out of our Skyhawk starting Friday night and will continue on to northern Idaho Sunday or Monday. Lots of space for camping with showers etc. (no gas). Oh, and the Orcas island fly-in in the San Juan Islands is scheduled for the following weekend.
