Congrats DBI — New Idaho Aviation Association director
A general forum for anything related to flying the backcountry. Please check first if your new topic fits better into a more specific forum before posting.
Long time BCP member @DBI aka Dave Irvin has been selected as the new district 7 director for the IAA. That's the region that includes the good stuff — The Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, the Selway Wilderness, and of course the "Big Creek Four" airstrips.
Dave is a great guy and I know he'll be great in his new role. I don't think expect it will be an easy one but hopefully your beautiful 182 gets a workout as a result.
Congrats, DBI!

Thank you very much!
As I learn my new roles and responsibilities for District 7, I will do everything I can to help anywhere possible.
If you are not a member of the Idaho Aviation Association (idahoaviation.com), we are always looking for new members and folks interested in supporting general aviation and of course protecting our fragile backcountry airstrip access.
Feel free to PM me or contact me through the IAA Website.
Safe Flying -
