Cont IO360 with Mac 82"

New to the forum and needing some help. I'm flying a Bearhawk 4pl in Brazil. It was on floats until I had an engine out / hard landing and ripped the floats off. We elected to go with a different prop - a Mac203 82". Now the equivalent of the FAA is asking for some documentation that we can use this engine / prop combo as the Data sheet limits the Cont IO-360 to an 80".
Anyone point me in the right direction?
PS. Yes, I know it's an experimental--here things operate a bit differently

I'm interested in how the floats ripped off.
