Hahaha!

Jim, how much is a printed version? I'd like one for my library. I'll stick it next to the compleat td pilot.

Re: Contact Flying

E-mail me your postal address and I will mail you a signed (in loose English) copy. It is $26.00 including shipping. I take check or Paypal at [email protected].

I was not familiar with computers when I wrote it. I found that spell check would let me make any word the same spelling. Since I am a poor speller, I thought why not. Every lose or loose in the book is loose. My computer geek put the illustrations and pictures in and made it a PDF so Lulu.com could print them one at a time. We were in a rush to get it ready for Author's Corner at Oshkosh. Anyway, poor editing.

Re: Contact Flying

Really enjoyed how you explained the rudder turns. Keep the wings level and stomp and steer.. Working Ag Cats close to the ground and around obstacles gets the blood pumping.. Would like to hear some more of your thoughts on energy management. Thx Mike

Re: Contact Flying

Mike,

Email me at [email protected] so I can attach"Safe Maneuvering Flight Techniques. " It covers the same techniques as"Contact Flying" without the war stories.

There is a lot of stuff in both on energy management in takeoff, turns, mountain flying, wind management, etcetera.

Re: Contact Flying

I read Contact Flying a few years ago. Great book. It's on my shelf right next to Stick and Rudder.
