So this goofy frenchmen was suposed to skydive out of the stratosphere at Northbattleford today. It was suposed to be yesterday but it was to windy. I dont know who decided NB was a good place for this stunt seeing as there is two big lakes north of town and a large river running through town and the wind blows like hell all spring! Anyhow we all went down to the airport and watched as he donned his space sute climbed into his capsule and inflated his baloon and watched his $400 000 baloon float away! "shit I guess we should have atached that to the capsule"
I havent heard an oficial explanation yet Ill talk to the guys tomorow. Some of the theories were faulty release cable or static electrisity setting off explosive bolts. but these were in the news so likely have no grounding in fact. Ill post when I get an explanation.

That is also why all the main roads in France are lined with trees.
So the Germans can march in the shade!

Sort of funny that the international distress call, MAYDAY, is derived from the french term "m'aidez", or "help me".
