If you have a somewhat official event, post it in the Events section of Community rather than here in the forum. It's a real events system that will order them by date, and can be shown on a map and a calendar (although I don't have that showing currently, but will soon.)

Once you've submitted your event, it will be approved by a moderator within 24 hours if it's legit and not a duplicate.

Bumping this for a reminder, as I've seen a few events posted in the forum only. The events section in Community posts the forthcoming events to the homepage, as displays them on a map. Soon I'll have a calendar display as well.
